It has been quite an eventful week for us here at Farmcrowdy.
We received the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Oluyemi Osinbajo and members of his team on the 17th of April and he made some remarkable statements about Farmcrowdy, one of which was “This is a startup the President himself would like to visit” and “I cited Farmcrowdy has a case study in my Harvard speech.”
A day later, on the 18th of April, we hosted our first Farm Sponsor Meet & Greet for 2018.
The event which held at our office provided us the opportunity to share our progress over the past year and discuss some of our plans going forward.
Farm sponsors were able to interact with everyone on the Farmcrowdy team, they got to see the impact that their sponsorship is having on rural farmers firsthand, and also participated in a Q & A session with the management team, who answered questions concerning everything Farmcrowdy and were sure to use the questions asked as quality feedback for our plans going forward.
Journalists from the British Broadcasting Corporation, London were also present to conduct a video coverage of our office space, interact and interview some of the team members as well as some of our existing sponsors for a feature programme airing on the BBC.
Wait, that’s not all!
