Agriculture is one activity that cannot be shoveled away from the existence of humanity. It can as well be described as the lifeblood of any community as it is the means of sustainability, survival and also a backbone in times of economic and financial distress.
Nigeria, the largest country in West Africa however is at this time harnessing her agricultural wealth because of the economic turbulence she has found herself in.
Following our recent research on Agricultural wealth in Nigeria, we discovered that Edo state is one state that is blessed with good soil for different range of agricultural produce including plantain cultivation, cocoa farming, yam farming and so much more. In order to explore this agricultural blessing, we took a trip to Owan East LGA, Edo state to empower more farmers and contribute to eradicating poverty one farmer at a time.
