The Independence day celebration in Nigeria is significant because it marks the day we got our independence from the British rule. It is celebrated annually on October 1st.
This year, Nigeria clocked 58! We may not be where we want to be, but we sure aren’t where we used to be. We are proud of the young Nigerians who keep the Naija spirit alive by innovating solutions to problems on a daily basis to better their immediate environment and Nigeria’s economy at large.
As a business, we are proud to be operating from Nigeria, and that we are a part of the Agritech revolution that will move this country and continent forward.
To celebrate Nigeria’s Independence Day, we donned on our traditional outfits and recorded two videos; One involving every member of the Farmcrowdy team:
And another from some of our farm sponsors:
This week was also Customer Service Week, an annual celebration that happens in the first week of October where companies recognize the importance of the customer service experience and appreciate their customers.
The theme of this year’s Customer Service Week is “Excellence happens here”. We value our customers, and Customer Service Week is a time to reiterate just how much we do. We also used this time to celebrate our employees, the ones delivering the exceptional service and who have a lasting impact on the customer experience.
To celebrate Customer Service Week, members of our CRM team paid a visit to one of our farm sponsors homes and also hosted another farm sponsor at our office in Lagos. We were just as excited as they both were!

We also made sure to appreciate the team who have worked so hard to make Farmcrowdy a wonderful atmosphere to work and receive visitors.

It’s been a great week altogether!
